This is the start of it all. The beginning of what’s to come. From this point forward, we shall begin to take this journey together. From this new, fresh start. Every beginning comes from some other beginning’s end, and this time, we’re aware of that fact, and will use it to our advantage. Whether you’re sad, hurt, mad, angry, enraged or any other extreme emotion, it always feels good to know that someone else has been in your shoes, relates to your feelings, and more than anything else, understands where you are whether spiritually, mentally, physically or. Emotionally. We all, at one time or another in our existences, need someone. A shoulder to lean on; an ear to talk to; a pair of arms to hold us while we fall apart; a heart to care for us when we’re too weak to care for ourselves. No matter the need, understanding is a necessity, and we should all be so lucky to have someone to help, love, encourage, and understand us. Sometimes we feel as though we are alone, and that noone can fully or completely get us. I, however, have decided to not feel that way anymore, and have chosen to be a survivor of the things that life has thrown at me that knocked me down. I will stand back up, and use those experiences to my advantage. I will be stronger, smarter, and a better person overall because of said things. It is my desire to not only use this blog as my means of freeing my thoughts on life from my heart and mind so that I may gain closure or healing, but also to help, encourage or inspire anyone who has been thru anything similar or identical to my situations in life. Not in any egotistical ego-driven way, but simply because it is my heart’s desire to tell my story, and to encourage anyone who feels as though their situation is impossible, that its never-ending or that noone has ever been through anything like it that someone has, and understands. It is my heart’s desire to help anyone to get through their struggles. You can only keep what you have by giving it away. Paying it forward so to speak. I feel as though if I can help one person, and they help one person so on and so forth, then not only have I done my part as a human being, but they can in turn help others. We can change this world from the condition that it’s in. We just have to have the love of others, and the desire in our hearts to do so. I pray that this blog gives someone else the desire to do the same…
